St Petersburg is where NOAA's headquarters office for the Gulf region is located. This is where NOAA's regional planning and management occur. It's not where the oil is. At least not now.http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2010/05/01/us/20100501-oil-spill-tracker.html
According to NOAA modeling, the probablitiy of oil showing up here are low - 20% or less.

The probability of oil showing up in the Florida Keys and on east coast beaches are much higher - up to 80% - due to the Loop Current.
I pray the white house makes the right decisions and that the hurricanes subside for awhile.
